Executive Chairman – Capt. Dawa Jangbu Sherpa



Capt. Dawa J Sherpa is the Executive Chairman & Senior Instructor Pilot at Mountain Helicopters. He has trained from the USA and France and has been flying since 1978, accumulating more than 6,500 flying hours on Alouette, Puma, Ecureuil, and Mi-17. He entered the private airlines sector in 1993 after he retired as a Major from the Nepal Army. Since then, he has contributed his knowledge and skills in different commercial airlines namely Nepal Airways Helicopter Service, Asian Airlines and Air Dynasty. Capt. Sherpa is also a member of the National Aviation Safety Team (NAST) of Nepal and is also a fixed wing multi engine rated pilot.

 

Managing Director – Mr. Ang Dendi Sherpa



Mr. Ang Dendi Sherpa is the Managing Director of Mountain Helicopters. He is one of the most successful tourism entrepreneurs of Nepal, with "Foothills Trek" being one of his success stories. Prior to his involvement in Mountain Helicopters, he was an Executive Promoting Director and contributed a lot in establishing one of the leading helicopter companies in Nepal.

 

Operation Director – Capt. Kiran Pun


Capt Kiran Pun is the Operation Director and an Instructor Pilot at Mountain Helicopters and has trained in Moscow, Russia and United States of America. He has been flying since 1994, more than 5000 hours of flying experiences under his belt on Mi-2, Mi-17 & Ecureuil. He has also held the position of a chief pilot in his previous employment.

 


Director – Capt. Deepak Garbuja Pun



Capt. Deepak Garbuja Pun is the Director and Pilot at Mountain Helicopters and has completed his flying courses from Australia and has been flying since 1997 logging more than 3500 hours of flying experience on R-22, BK-117, Bell 206, and Ecureuil.

 


Flight Safety Director – Capt. Pasang Norbu Sherpa



Capt. Pasang Norbu Sherpa is the Flight Saftey Director at Mountain Helicopters and has trained in Moscow, Russia. He has been flying since 1995, logging more than 3500 hours of flying experience on Mi-2, Mi-17 & Ecureuil. He was an Executive Member of Trekking Agents Association of Nepal from 2007 to 2009. He also holds the position of the General Secretary of Expedition Operator Association of Nepal.

 

Engineering Director – Engineer Chandra Man Pun



Eng. Chandra Man Pun is the Executive Engineering Director at Mountain Helicopters and started his aircraft engineering career in 1994. He acquired his training and education from various parts of the world namely New Zealand, Singapore, USA & India. His expertise lies in the maintenance and engineering management of helicopters such as the Bell, Ecureuil & Bk-117.
